Please... Stand By (PSB) is a metalcore outfit from Oshawa, Ontario founded by lead vocalist Ryan Smith and former lead guitarist Damian Wall in late 2017. Joining them in the current line-up is guitarist Carl Wolter, and bassist Jordan Roberts. To date, the band has released two EPs and three singles since 2019. The band has a very diverse range of sounds that incorporates many different styles of metal and other genres into their music with a foundation rooted in metalcore and deathcore. Recently, PSB has released their new, self-produced EP entitled "Through The Gates". They are releasing a new single on July 16, 2025.

Fronting the band is lead vocalist Ryan, who, after co-founding the band with Damian, took the lead as the band's manager. Almost everything about the band came from the depths of his visionary mind. Carefully crafting and calculating every lyric, song title, album name, and more to create a cohesive vessel for the band's music.

Ryan spends most of his time perfecting his lyricism and vocal abilities. With a voice that cuts equally as sharp as his words, he utilizes a vast mix of brutal guttural lows, menacing growls, pitched yells, metalcore-esque screams, and piercing shrieks to make sure you hear what he has to say loud and clear! All without using excessive profanity or overly grotesque imagery to get his message across.

Combine this all with a commanding, fiercely aggressive, yet controlled stage presence and your attention will be affixed to the stage whenever PSB performs.

Long-time best friend of Ryan, Carl is no stranger to what PSB is all about! So it only made sense he would eventually join their ranks in full-capacity in 2021.
​
Since joining the band, you can sense Carl's influence in every aspect of the band and their music new and old. Dual vocal harmonies, symphonic ambiance, and melodic riffs permeate through the band's compositions live and in the studio with Carl's expansive musical stylings.
His influence will certainly be felt on PSB's future works with him recently taking up the mantle as the band's in-house producer and co-manager, alongside Ryan, despite pursuing his degree in neuroscience.

Carl's love for experimentation and all things music helps elevate the best parts of this metalcore outfit to new heights.

The energy Jordan has brought to the band since he joined at the beginning of 2020 is undeniable, both on and off the stage.
He will wander around while performing and make sure the audience knows he means business! Combine that with his brutally crushing bass tone that is just as in-your-face as he is during PSB's live shows, he makes his presence known without a doubt!

Off the stage, his eclectic personality and sense of humor can be felt throughout everything the band does. From merch ideas, to social media posts, and more, you know when Jordan is working his magic.

Jordan, is not just any bassist, he has cemented himself as a memorable and crucial member of this outfit that they could never do without.
